Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 77 degrees F, sunny, and just gorgeous here at the Jersey Shore. Top down for sure! Work was busy today. First I thought I was proctoring a state language exam this morning but the room I thought I was in was dark and empty. I went back to my class to call guidance to find out where I was supposed to be. The secretary told me she didn't know and that I should call the main office. I did that and the secretary told me to call a classroom where the Guidance Coordinator was camped out. I called the room and it was a history teacher. I asked her which room he was in. She told me, I called that, and nope that was an English teacher. Finally I figured it out and got in touch with him. He told me I was only on for Thursday and Friday. Fine. Then I went to my work BFF's room to see if she still had the assignments. She found it and I'm scheduled for Thursday and Friday for 3rd period. Um I have a class 3rd period. Called the GC back to inform him that I have a class then. He said he "will look into it". Anyway I taught my butt off today. I got through the 3 types of natural selection. Tomorrow I want to find a virtual lab or activity for the students to do because they aren't going to want to listen to me for a 3rd day in a row. That will make the day easy for me--I can catch up on grading while listening to my music. I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon--1 bio and 1 A&P. I also picked up a hall duty coverage for tomorrow ($22) and a partial homebound for the next month. That won't be every week but it will still be an extra $45 or $90 before June. I'll take it. After tutoring I have to make dinner, unload the dishwasher, and then do another load of dishes. I don't know how 1 person living alone can generate so many dishes. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
