Cousin #3 didn't show up yesterday because she didn't put something on her calendar to remind her. She will be coming on Friday.
Sly Stone has passed away at the age of 82. Another musician from my era. It's sad how we're losing so many artists that we listened to in the 60s and 70s.
Another bear has been sighted in my area. Unusual but not new. Authorities just said don't bother them; and they won't bother you.
Today the lady from the Council on Aging/Meals on Wheels comes to re-qualify me for MOW.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Hamburger, potato wedges, baked beans, Mandarin oranges
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin
Dinner - Buffalo chicken/Provolone sandwich, chips, yogurt

I’m not familiar with Sly Stone. I wouldn’t a bear to be anywhere near me with the exception of at the zoo.

I'm sitting here on pins and needles waiting to hear from my son. My daughter in law had surgery this morning and I'm waiting to hear that she's ok.
Your meals sound good. I love burgers and wedges. I'm sure you will qualify for MOW again.
Last night we had grilled chicken on a salad.

Sly perfected funk, that’s for sure.
I had a chicken taco salad for lunch and chicken veggie soup for dinner. Apples, fiber, and yogurt!

I remember Sly Stone for his hit music as well as his songs from Woodstock. I will miss him beyond words. Dinner last night was rice with burgers and vegetables.

I would suspect the number of celebs we lose will gradually increase considering there was that baby boom era they were part of and of course, many of those icons are getting very up in their years.
The cycle of life, I suppose.
As for dinner, I just ate whatever was there leftover as my tummy demanded. I'll return to normal life on Wednesday. lol

Oh! A bear roaming around in the neighborhood would be scary.
Glad that the lady has come. You can now receive you MOW.
I had my breakfast of sandwiches and banana. It was good and filling.
