Is there a way to change the world in this day and age?

Today, corporations pretty much have the biggest say in things, you can't do much unless the government allows it in laws. What much chance is there to be a good person? In fact, what would you even classify as a good person? For example, ethics wise was Mahatma Ghandi a good person? He did a lot of good for his people, but in essence he was still fighting an opponent, did inflicting losses (Albeit financially instead of physically) harm his opponents? I'm just having a debate with myself about what really IS a good person, is it going all out to be a good person? Or is it doing what you can when you can?

I suppose I did write it as I was thinking it. I'm asking exactly... how to define a good person, or more specifically, how to define one in modern times.

Being a good person, does not always, mean going against the law or government. There are many things that can be done. What is it that "you" feel that you need to be doing? obviously, there is a pending question here, that you are not revealing. So consider the question that you are not asking.

I know what you mean corporations and the government control so much,I think a good person can be defined as someone who does what is right, and helps people who are in trouble,or need help, even though someone who looks like a good person to some people, might look like a bad person to others.
