I know I know your never sapposed to leave a toilet lid open. But it happened, and one of my glider females was found face down in the toilet. My husband revived her and got her to eat. He warmed her up and left her alone. She seems to be fine now. That was scary.

That is so sad, and can see how scary that was. But, everyone makes mistakes, and you were most likely pressured or stressed at the moment. Let's just be glad that she is well now, and be thankful to God for the miracle.

Yes, as they don't know. I tell my hubby to put the toilet seat down, as I have a small cat that wants to drink from there. Yuk. And she may not get out if she falls in. Our pets are like little babies. But accidents happen. All we can do is try to be careful. Thank you for the rate of the + again. You are very sweet.

Thank you for the encouragement. Its amazing how simple leaving a lid up on a toilet can be. Especially for small children, and gliders too.

Hi there! Like a lot of other folks apparently, I was just curious to know what a glider was and now I do. Thanks for the enlightenment. It sounds like a cute albeit somewhat expensive little pet and I'm glad it's okay...Keep that toilet seat down!

Oh, I thought it was some type of lizard lol.
Well I'm glad that it's okay now, I know that was stressful and scary for you.

A sugar glider is a marsupial that looks like a bat basically, big beautiful eyes with giant ears. They have webbed arms and glide like a flying squirrel. They have pouches that their babies live in. They sell right now in the pet stores for $250
We thought we would sell them but decided there were too many idiots out there(I guess me leaving the toilet seat up is not so non-idiot)

Theres alot of info on the web for gliders. They are alot of work. Very sensitive. Mine eat fresh fruit cut up into tiny pieces every night with a little protein and some yogurt. they are nocturnal so thats a challenge. We thought we were going to raise them to sell. But when people came to look at them we couldnt stand to sell them to people who werent willing to be educated. I wish you the best.
