christmas help

We have 6 children and money is quite tight @ the moment, Does anybody know of help out there for us to get gifts for christmas, this is the 1st year that we have gotten into this mess and the worry is beyond anything i have experienced before ... any ideas or suggestions will be gratefully recieved.

I know in my town they have a program for that sort of thing. Check with local chuches or your social service office. Good luck and I hope you find something. Happy Holidays to you too.

Maybe you could just tell your kids that they should be happy with what they receive. It's the thought that counts. :]

I think the first two comments were right on. And if you want to get them something as well then youcould go to places like family dollar and big lots stores like that they have good toys and cheap just a little out dated.

Well, since your post was from ages ago, I thought I would ask and see how your holidays went and hwere you were able to find all your littel ones there gifts. Last Christmas I was doing just fine with money, but I will be in your shoes this year's holiday, as I am expecting my 3rd child in September. If you could give me a head's up now I would be grateful! (As I am hoping to start my Christmas shooping over the summer.)
