If so what do you do? Trail ride, show, english or western? I used to show when I had time, now I work too much. I would love to hear from anyone.

I have 3 Quarter Horses, and 1 Appaloosa. My Appy gelding is Patches... yeah real original, I didn't name him, lol. He is an awesome trail horse, we also use him in the arena for pulling riders off of broncs.
One Quarter horse is a black gelding he's my baby, his name is Mr. Bojangles (Bo) and I use him for everything, trail riding, roping, barrel racing, ranch horse, and the kids have used him in play days at the rodeo.
One QH is a sorrel mare her name is Shereda (Sher) she is a good trail horse when she's not trying to boss all the other horses around, we use her more when we go just with our horses, instead of strange horses. She's also a barrel racer, good for little kids she does low 16's to mid 15's.
The last QH x Arabian is a palamino mare her name is Double Delight (DD) she's the one I teach lessons off of, she's very small and calm, she will stand for hours as the kids learn to groom a horse properly.
All are ridden Western or bareback.

My 12 year old daughter Megan has five quarter horses.
She uses both a traditional Mexican saddle and a Mexican
sidesaddle to ride Escaramusa, the Mexican national sport
for young ladies, which is similar to a high speed mounted
drill team. Escaramusa is done in teams of 8 girls.
Megan has practice sessions every Saturday in our local
bull ring.
