Is or was METALLICA the best heavy metal band?

Metallica are over rated. Anyone heard of Nevermore? So much more talent. Jeff Loomis is THE ultimate shred-master.

I think they used to be and think they sold their selves short when they didnt need too, everyone liked metallica and knew who they were, there was no reason for them to go and try to change their style of music, also the way they acted about the whole napster thing pissed off alot of fans I think. But honestly, I think people think of their new stuff as a joke now, they really should have stayed themselves.

They were pioneers of heavy metal back in the day. They were "Gods" years ago. Then they sold out and turned into pansy rock! I used to be a huge fan of them when I was younger but they lost all of my respect! They shouldnt even have "metal" in their name now!
