What would you do if your boyfriend or girlfriend cheated on you?

I'm in a relationship and at the beginning I cheated on my boyfriend. It was a difficult time. I was young and still wanted to explore. But I was falling hard for my boyfriend. I vowed to never ever do it again. He's so great to have forgiven me. We've been together for 8 years!

Honestly I couldn't be in a relationship where someone cheated on me. I've been cheated on and I never felt the same about the person anymore. It just makes you lose trust that can never be regained, no matter what.

Well, I guess my hunnie is a great person and a bigger person for forgiving me. It took me a long time to get his trust back but I'm so happy for what he did. I don't know if I could have done the same thing.

he must have nerves of steel for being able to forgive, I know I couldn't...maybe that makes me weak that I can't forgive, but that's the one form of betrayal I couldn't handle.

I cant imagine that. If that happens then it's time to end the relationship. I honestly cant go on haunted by thoughts that he would cheat on me again. I never thought about cheating my fiancé, and I want him to do the same. Cheers!

Gee, everyone is making me feel guilty. Of course I feel guilty about the situation but now I feel worse. And this happened about 7 years ago. I don't know.

you are lucky ....I could not stay with someone who cheated on me. My problem is I would try to forgive but I could never forget.

I'm sure he hasn't forgotten. And I really do consider myself lucky. I can say that I found the one God wanted me to be with.
