Christmas food

My brother, sister and I are in charge of the Christmas food this year. What is your favorite food at Christmas time?

This is my first year cooking too and my menu is Baked ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe casarole, green bean cassarole, rolls, corn on the cob, salad, apple pie, cherry pie, and sugar cookies. I may add more later but as of right now that is would it is looking like.

That's great stuff, with the fried onions on top? Yum. Also I like fruitcake, Christmas pears, stollen (a Nordic type of cake).

Well, ours is unconventional. We don't have anyone to spend it with, so I will make my husband certain foods that I don't usually make during the year. Potato Latkus, cheese blinzes, stuff like that. Hhehheheh.

I usually just make dessert, which coincidentally is my favorite part of the meal. I am making a pumpkin cheesecake and a pumpking cake (it's like carrot cake with cream cheese icing) this year for dessert.

Those both sound good! My brother is a diabetic so I usually try to find a good dessert that is sugar free.

Turkey, turkey dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccolli casserole, green bean casserole, corn casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls and butter, green olives, apple pie, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, Christmas cookies, egg nog and sweet tea is our usual Christmas day menu.
