If You Overtake Someone Last in a race at what position will you be???? and How can u Drop a Egg on a Concrete Floor Without Breaking It??? Waiting for the answer

If You Overtake Someone Last in a race, then you would have finished second to the last (position). I don't know the answer about the egg. What is it?

I'm not sure if I understood the riddles correctly but I'm thinking if you pass the person in last then you are in first and just lapped them. If you drop a hard boiled egg, removed from it's shell, it would probably bounce a little or roll but it would not break.
