Myasthenia Gravis is a rare auto-immune disease in which the body creates antibodies that block messages sent to body parts to do certain functions. For example when a weak spell occurs there is difficulty speaking, swallowing, chewing, slurred speech, drooping eyes, very weak arm movement, and occassionally impaired leg movement. I have it...i was diagnosed last year during my pregnancy with my first and only child. This disease is chronic and has definately changed my life. Just curious how many knew about the disease or knew of someone who has/had it.
