What are your tips and where do you shop? I love Target, i always shop the outer ends towards the walls of the store, for clearance. I also print off target coupons. the most i have ever saved in one trip is 45.00 (not to shabby) Although i know some people can save way more...so tell me how?

I read that you should get coupons and then wait for the item to go on sale.

I have used coupons etc....however I am now learning the best way to save is to use the coupons and save receipts upc for rebates that may be offered at a later time. I am also figuring out that it is just plain cheaper to buy healthy stuff and make it from scratch...for me it is anyway...if you have all the staples in the house...You can always make something up if you are running low on money... Like myself today.. I have 1 lb hamburger in the freezer...a bag of frozen onions, green peppers and waterchestnuts..and some barbecue sauce...you take the burger and cook it with the green peppers, onions and waterchestnuts and then pour into around a half a cup of barbecue sauce and let simmer for around 20 minutes..... You then can take a bag of veggies...which I always have..and cook some rice and voila... cheap meal...

Yeah I am, I actually enjoy bargain hunting. It's such a challenge for me and I feel very rewarded if even I find very good, unbeatable deals,. i use coupons too, specialy when buying groceries and I use them in conjunction with what's on my favorite supermakets sales/deals.

Hi! I try to use coupons and take advantage of sales whenever I can. I'm no expert by any means, but I'll share some tips I've learned over the years. The best way to get the most out of your coupons is to use them with sale items. For example, the soup is on sale for 2 for $1.25, then you have a coupon for 25 cents off that you use at the same time, you save even more money. Also, be careful of dollar stores and bargain warehouses (clubs, etc) where you can buy in bulk. The prices aren't always cheaper, so you really have to be careful and keep in mind what you usually pay for products at those places. Hope that helps! :-)

I am a bargain shopper. most of the deals I find are online though. I read these bargain newsletters. http://www.mybargainbuddy.com http://www.freelancebyu.com they list great deals in their newsletters. I also read www.couponmom.com it helps me to get the most for my money with coupons at the grocery store. all of these websites are free. if you go be sure and sign up for their newsletters.
