well, in high school its required to take a world language course. i chose spanish for 3 years, thats was the min. and i learned a few things. it wasn't enough for me to be fluent in the language, but its was cool. it was also required for us to go through hawaiian studies and learn a little hawaiian in elementry school. i would love to be fluent in hawaiian, spanish and japanese. i think those laguages are usefull.

I do, I speak 2 languages and i try to teach my teacher to learn the language I know.
