Store bought -or- home made? what do you think is better? this year I have decided to bake homemade goodies and put them into personalized boxes, all I have to do is decide who gets rum balls and who gets the 'angel whispers'. The expenses are less all I have to buy is the baking supplies and spend some quality time with my daughter in the kitchen. Does homemade goodies in a Christmas box seem cheap?

I think that really matters on the person, some ppl would be extreamely happy with homemade stuff, but then others(mostly grumpy ppl)wouldn't be. I personly, love baked goods and I think thats is a great idea

yah I hear you, I think grumpy people should get a lump of coal! I love baked stuff especially around holidays it's like people bake better when it's for a holiday.

Homemade all the way. When my mother and my wife bake homemade goodies for the special holidays, my father and I love it so much... Such a special sweet-treat.
