I cont say that love is an obstacle which ruins the career.... Love gives a gr8 feel.....If u feel bored without ur love, then b with him/her and U can concentrate on ur studies(some what difficult, but not impossible)....... U need a qualification to hold his/her's hand..right!!! Keep that in mind & mould ur career & love in the way it benefits u both.....Gud luck......

Absolutely, it CAN be. If you are in a relationship that has some serious problems, you will not be concentrating on studying. If the relationship is brand new, you might be more focused on daydreaming. In those cases, it can certainly affect being a student negatively. Lillith
