Cancer can be treated using surgery, radioactive therapy, chemotherapy and now immunotherapy. While the first three are the conventional methods to treat cancer, the immunotherapy is now being explored as a possible therapy for cancer. It involves, the activation of immune system components to attack the cancer in natural process. It can involve the use of Dendritic cells, T cells, antibodies directed against tumors and even stem cell transplantation to treat blood cancers. but, each therapy has its own pros and cons, so the combination and permutation between various therapies is better. What do you feel?

There is no single best therapy for treating cancer. It's case to case basis.

Do you think we should look to radioactive materials when we have wide range of therapies?

You can just chose a universal therapy against cancer... The best treatment is almost always a combination of many different treatments, different for different types of cancer.

you are right, but each patient has different response to treatment. so, only customised treatments according to patient profile is important

The main draw-back of chemotherapy is its toxicity. moreover, the chemicals are not specific to target cells. they can act on all the cells they come across.but, they can be beneficial if they are used in optimal amounts according to the disease.
