Google actually is the most used search engine in the world, and it expand in a lot of services on the internet: mail, news, videos, translations, advertisement, word processing etc. This is a very good service, because it try to spread a new way of think about a computer: it's not necessary to have a powerful computer, because you can do everything on the net, you should only have a computer with internet access and a browser. But is this safe? Does Google offer all these services only for filanthropism? I'm a little afraid of what Google can be in the future. Now it's "only" a big corporation... and in the future? Will Google be a kind of Big Brother? Or am I paranoid? :)
Tell me your opinion!

Yes, I am. When a corporation expands so widely, there's always the risk that its owners will try to make more and more profits in spite of what it has been until then.
I don't like when big corporations buy little companies: it is true that they make them evolve but they should only give them more visibility and financial cover, leaving to the acquired companies their previous independence.
