What is your opionion about donating your organs after you die?
I still havent filled in my donation card but i will. if my death can prevent someone elses then i think it is great. But i do not want to donate eyes and tissue...
I have told my close ones my decision and they have accepted it, some even signed up themselves!

I have signed mine, and I don't care what they use. After all, when I die I will have absolutely no use for any of the parts of my body, and I feel that if anyone can benefit from the use of any part of me, then a part of me will live on, and that will be a good legacy to leave behind.

I have a donor card that I carry in my wallet. My nephew is alive today because of the generosity of a family who chose to donate their child's organs. He received a kidney from a donor.
We do not need our organs once our life is over. Our spirit leaves our body. The life that the organs we leave behind will help others to live.

I think it is alright since it helps to save more lives - as long as you can stomach the thought of your body being naked on the operating bed and cut open and mutilated. :P

I would donate organs to a living family member that needed a kidney or what have you. My husband has volunteered to be an organ donor. I am undecided, but my instincts tell me I think I owuld like all my parts together when I am cremated. I'm supersticious.
