THE MOST important thing in a relationship

nothing other than true love is the most important thing in a relationship, only "Love" nothing other than it, False love will end soon , but true love never ends.

I have to say, love is the most important ingredient in any relationship, because it opens the door for everything else to enter and stay– respect, trust, commitment, friendship, passion. Two people in love are always looking out for each other, never themselves.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN ANY RELATIONSHIP IS THE FAITH AND TRUST EXISTING. IF THE TRUST IS STRONG THE VERY BASIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP IS STRONG AND PERMANENT. RELATIONSHIP ALSO REQUIRES THE SAME AMOUNT OF CRAVING FOR SUCH RELATIONSHIP FROM BOTH THE SIDES INVOLVED.

Commitment, trust, understanding and love between 2 parties. :-) There are lots of things for a relationship to last, but I think these 4 are one of the most essentials in maintaining a relationship.

I think that the most important things in a relationship are communication and trust. A couple needs to be able to communicate effectivly to have a good relationship. You need to be each others' best friend and be able to talk about anything, problems included.

For me there is 4 important that you have in a relationship LOVE, TRUST, RESPECT and COMMUNICATION...

I hate to say it but it is probably trust - both ways and ofcourse respect and communication. The reason I hate to say trust is because that is my biggest trouble in life =( feel free to read my thread about this, =)

i think the sense of commitment with the realtionship. the trust with one another and of course the most important is communicattion. for me these are the necessary charactereistic of a happy and harmonious realtionship.

Love, respect, understanding, trust, care, motivation, being a good friend, provide security both finacial and emotional. Children would just add up as a advantage.

I think that the most important thing in a relationship is love, consideration and understanding. My fiancee' and I try to continue understanding eachother. We have our disagreements but they are never bad or last long since we understand eachother. We have been togather for four years now but we have known eachother for 15+ years. As far as I know our relationship is as strong as it is from understanding and consideration since I would never do anything to make her feel uneasy.
