I am definitely a Firefox fan. Internet Explorer is too slow and has a lot of problems with it right, especially IE 7 so I use Firefox. I have tried Netscape in the past but did not like that one too much either.

I have a love/hate relationship with Netscape.I've used it and loved it back several versions ago.The newest one 8.0,I liked the first beta version but don't like the current stable one.

I think it depends on what you're looking for in a browser. I use Opera as my primary browser because it's the fastest. I use IE whenever I'm trying to access content not available on any other browser. I also use it for the guidance of McAfee SiteAdvisor; Firefox works with it too, but it doesn't really serve any purpose that neither Opera nor IE will serve. Frilly extensions, perhaps, but I prefer to use browsers for browsing. ;) I also keep a copy of Torpark handy, in case I want to hide my IP address for "particular" purposes. It's Firefox, with a proxy built in. It also comes with SiteAdvisor.

Okay,I'm warming up to Firefox a bit.I use it on my Linux computer and the Vista. On the Vista it IS super fast.Pages are loaded nearly before I let go of the mouse button. On my Mac I use Opera 'cause I don't like the way anything else works on it.On my XP machines I'm a total Maxthon user.I have Maxthon 1.6 on one and Maxthon2 on the other.

I've scraped the 'regular' Maxthon and am only using Maxthon2 now.I also just tried the Netscape9 which is based on Firefox. It's so much faster than Firefox and I haven't seen one popup.Cool.

Uh, yah. What kind of security software are you using? I use Internet Explorer, version 6 of all things, and I still don't get popups. It's absolutely crucial to have competent security software, regardless of what browser or even operating system you use. Recent articles are now revealing that Windows Vista is more secure than Mac and Red Hat Linux, and I'd imagine other Linux distros would be less secure than Vista as well. Yet, even Vista has its weaknesses, which are more frequently exploited since Windows is the de facto standard. Likewise, even Opera has vulnerabilities. My suggestion is always to choose the browser that best suits your personal tastes, and choose security software that can protect your machine when (not if) your browser lets malware in. Your browser is not a firewall, nor is it an IDS. It's just a browser; remember that. Salute! -santuccie P.S.: Laughing at dumb jokes is still good for your health!!!

Yes im a Firefox fanatic, it tried IE 6 which sucks by the way. IE 7 was better than 6 but most of its features can be found on Firefox. I tried Opera as well, features are great but is a memory hog

Hi vhansen, I am currently using opera as my main browser. It is much faster when compared to other browsers. I like the overall speed performance of it. It has fast execution especially when returning back from previously visited pages. It is safe to use too. It has widgets like the add-ons of mozilla. Overall, I am so impressed and grateful with my opera browser. However, I also used mozilla and IE rarely if I need them. Have a nice day and God speed!

I prefer firefox because of tabbing browsing. I also think firefox is more safer. I am not sure how true it is but anyhow I believe it. I started using Nestscape then swithched to Internet Explorer then now using firefox and loving it. Firefox is the best for me. I think everyone else prefer firefox as well.

I only love to use Mozilla Firefox The reasons that i have to use Firefox are it is very 1) light weight to computer resources , 2) very attractive and easy to use interface 3) Free to download and use 4) Has a lot of extensions & plug in to use and lot more features and thing that you will notice while you use it.

Personally, Firefox can't be topped right now, however you don't like it, so there are other options. IE7 is way better than IE6, but still falls short. Opera is an excellent browser, and highly innovative, and can even be set to be recognized as Firefox or IE, but it can be sluggish at times. Other browsers utilizing the mozilla code base are Flock and SeaMonkey, Flock being geared to those who do a lot of blogging and blog reading, and SeaMonkey geared to be a Mozilla suite replacement, including the browser, RSS reader, and email client. If you're using a Mac, a counterpart to Firefox that looks better is Camino, which is a great browser. iCab is still a relatively new browser, but it holds it's own.

Okay the trouble I have with Firefox is that it takes over everything once you make it your default browser.I don't like that.I switch browsers daily, sometimes more.I don't want to be working in one and have another open because it's my default and I can't switch it back.Very annoying.

there are htree main and they all aqre equally well. like Opera is famous for its widgets and abbed browsing and consuming less ram. Where mozilla has superb add on but consumes 80 mb of ram which is a lot an dthose having 512 ram are only benifited by it. IE can help anyone wathcing and viewing any site and the new version s also having tabbed browsing. But opera is the best with very less ram consuming, awesome speed

If you don't like firefox than you can try Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) which is the best alternative of firefox available right now. You can also use Opera 9.
