Does illegal immigration increase crime?

Yes, the crime rate has been steadily rising in my area. Just heard on the news this morning where a Hispanic suspect ripped through an elderly woman's screen window to gain entry to her house. She came in and found him sitting on the toilet! She asked him a question, he said something in Spanish and then she grabbed the phone and called the cops. He ran away and is still at large, I believe.

i dont think that they can, but it can happen if they dont get a job, and star doing the crime.

We have a lot of illegal immigrants in my area and where they live there is definately more crime and violence. It could be a coincidence but I don't believe in them... It really is a shame that they come here and say they are looking for a better life but then they make their new homes just like their old ones. They aren't trying to make anything better. They are just making our lives worse and more dangerous.
