My Life Depends on You

Mamma, please don't hurt me,
I'm helpless and so small,
If you don't choose to keep me safe,
Then I've no one at all.
I'm not a thing to be destroyed-
In private, secretly;
I'm growing here beneath your heart,
I'm real, I'm yours, I'm me!
Perhaps your heart is troubled,
Filled with fears or filled with shame.
But Mamma, try to understand
I'm not the one to blame!
I've never, ever hurt you,
So you've nothing to forgive,
Why should I have to die
Before I've had my right to live?
If you can't keep me, Mamma,
It's all right, I'll understand,
But please let someone else
Reach out to take my tiny hand.
So many childless couples
Would be happy as can be,
If they could but adopt
And love a little one like me.
Remember when you were just as small
And 1)frail as I?
Your mother didn't make the choice
To have her baby die.
You had your chance to live,
So, please let me have my chance, too.
I can't escape, I can't cry out…
My life depends on you!
Love,
Your 2)preborn child
A child's Christmas list ??????

A friend is like a flower,
a rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate
that never comes unlatched .
A friend is like an owl,
both beautiful and wise.
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost,
whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like those blades of grass
you can never mow ,
standing straight, tall, and proud
in a perfect little row.
A friend is like a heart that goes
strong until the end.
Where would we be in this world
if we didn't have a friend?

A very touching poem.Do you like collecting poems, and write one too.
here is another one for you:
IF I KNEW
If I knew it would be the last time,
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.
If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.
There will always be another day
to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance
to say our "Anything I can do?"
But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
you get to hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today,
and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear
Take time to say "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.

it's a very touching poem, and I wish More of these present day girls could understand the feeling associated with motherhood.
just two years back at this girl from who aborted our child just to get on with her career. and that's when I just left her.
I wish somebody could have fed this Feeling into her brain.I don't understand why these new generation females have no feelings when they resort to abortions
