If I can keep my child home from school

My 5 year old should have started school but we have been moving around alot and now her grand perents are moving to a different state. I want to know what the laws is about keeping her home and starting next year. I just thing all this is just to much on a child and having to chance schools 3 times because of us moving around. If you know where I can find the laws on the PLEASE let me know! Thank-you

You should contact the school baord for your area. They probably have a web site with all of the information you arelooking for. I know it can be tough. Last year my son was in 3 different schools and repeating 1st grade b/c of it. Good Luck!

It really depends on the state...what state are you in? You may also want to consider homeschooling her for this first year, but that gets tricky depending on what state you are in as well...

Check the State Educational laws...you can proabbaly find them on line, Some states don't require children to start until they are 6. The education dept shouls also have the rules on homeschooling. If you can't find it, just call your local school district.

do go to some school and enquire..tat ll be a better source..i do think some prob will come at 10th standard if you join you kid late..

In the state we live in you must starte school by the age of 5, if not you can go to jail.
