Yes, I do purchase homemade soaps. I love them. I puchase various kinds from goats milk and oat soap to lavendar dreams soaps. I love the fact that it all natural and I can get the scent put in it that I want. I am just now beginning to make my own. I am really excited about it.

I have heard about it having less chemicals but am kind of scared to use it. I really don't like soap anyhow. I prefer to use bath gel or whatever you want to call it. You know, the almost liquid kind of soap. I'm curious as to whether homemade soaps can actually get you as clean though since they don't have any chemicals?

No I don't buy homemade soap. I actually make and teach soapmaking. Check out www.soapguild.org and www.thesoapmakinglibrary.com for books and information about handcrafted soap making.
