Marriage vs Living Together

I have been with the same person for 10yrs and we have a great relationship. We have 3 children and have lived together for the past 9 years. We are comfortable and happy with the way things are but I have had people tell me that we should just get married and others say that we shouldn't have to. I would like to know if anyone is in the same situation or if anyone has any thoughts about this topic.

It's your opinion that counts sweetcheek. If your happy the way things are then thats fabulous. There's no law that says you have to be married to be happy. As for legal stuff, if something did happen to you, it would come down to a will first. So make sure, your will is in order as any responsible parent would.

my boyfriend and i have been together 5 years our little girl is 4 years old and we have people telling us we need to get married but if things are ok not married why ruin a good thing
