How often do you clean your house?

I clean my appartment every saturday or sunday. I almost always pick up my things and place them to an appropriate place. It only takes you some seconds and can save you lots of time when you decide to clean up. Maintenance is the key. I have lost some important papers (like bills) before and I have disciplined myself ever since.

Have your family pick up their "stuff" 15 min. before they go to bed. After they are in bed you can take a few min to pick up the little things such as papers, dirty dishes and etc and go back to "level 1".

You should check out flylady.net. They have some great tips to keeping your house constantly clean. Once you reach a point of being decluttered it is pretty easy.
