I'm a Karaoke Jock whenever the people want me but....

It's hard to keep up with all the new music. What song or songs are a must have in todays Karaoke Lounge? I'm a little week on late 80's and 90's music also so help me out here.

If I were you, I would check the top 40 lists. Do you do any kind of music? Try some from each group. Rock, country, pop and so on. If you want older stuff try the big ones like AC/DC, Def Lepard, Whitesnake, Areosmith. Just listen to any 80's or 90's radio station to get some ideas!

Unfortunately I know all that too well, about the top 40 and all. I've been at it for over 20 years and have decades of music. This may be the problem! If I go out to a wedding party I almost have to poll the brides family separately from the grooms just to get all their generes and fav songs. Now rap is coming into it and as much as I'd like to leave it out, there's always somone out there wanting to snoop the party. I love AC/DC Aerosmith and the big guys but hardly ever does one try either of those except me on a few Aerosmith songs. Those baands are hard to do.

well i dont know what can i help you because i dont realy understand you problem? you want us to say some 80 90 songs? or what? you know i love karaoke to verry much me and my friends going very often to a caraoke show! because we love the party and the funn and the laughting and the bad and good singers it is a verry nice place !and i do it at home sometimes! because i havea program a karaoke program! and sometimes i sing alone in the house :) until now i havent got any ojection from my neighbors
