I'm gonna be a grandma at age 37.

Okay, technically a step-grandma, but still I'm gonna be a grandma before I am even a mother. I don't have any kids of my own, but my step-daughter is 22 and her boyfriend is 23. He seems like a nice guy, and he is happy about the pregnancy, and so is my step-daughter. Don't know yet if they plan to get married soon or not though, but since they are both grown that's their decision to make. But hey, my husband and I are both happy about the pregnancy too.

congratulations grandma. you get to go throught the grandparent stage before the parent stage. i think being a grandparent is more fun. you get to spoil your grandchildren and dont have to worry about discipline so you get the best of the relationship, and a baby in the family is always so amazing whether you are the parents or grandparents.
In your lifetime you will probably get to be great grandmother and great great grandmother too ;)

You are going to love being a grandma. It is the best time. No, it doesn't matter if you have never had children of your own, your step-daughter, although she shares no blood, is your daughter of the heart. Sharing in this experience will bring you closer. Enjoy every minute. : )
