What is your opinion on gastric bypass surgery?

My wife had a gastric bypass procedure done, and has a tremendous amount of weight, with minor setbacks. 1.She developed a bleeding ulcer near one of the bypass sites, 2.Is taking OTC medicine for her stomache (i.e. tums,prilosec.etc.) 3.Had an adhession of her intestine to some scar tissue. If you are moderately overweight, then this is not the right procedure. If you are morbidly obese, then this is a consideration.

Gastric bypass would benefit some people who have exhausted other options

My friend had the surgery and she lost 80lbs but you know sometimes they have problems and they have websites that will tell you the problems plus you have to keep excerciseing even more then you did before

well i dont have much idea about it ...my uncle had that surgery a few months earlier he is fine now...
