Are Mini Pinchers a down sized Doberman Pincher?...They look so much alike..

They look so much alike..only the mini looks to be built more like a sturdy Jack Russel...anyone know the history?...

No the minature pinscher is a breed about 100 years older than the Doberman. They have nothing to do with the Doberman.
