I have a soon to be fifteen year old (Birthday is in January) that is stressing me out. Since about almost a year ago she has started treating me like I am some nobody she meet on the street. I know teenagers are suspose to be difficult and that they are all like that at this age, but I am really struggling. The more trouble she gets into and the more I have to disipline her, the more she disrespects me. I have tried everything. Every word that comes out of her mouth to me is a lie and we both know it, but she is not bothered at all by it. Bad thing is she is not this way with her grandmother, (my mother), and my sisters (her aunts). which has caused alot of termoil in the family. I have the teenager from hell! (Kidding of course) Any advice would be great!

Unfortunately, I dont think that is how every kids are. Yes, kids act out, but it seems that there is more of a problem there. Is there a father in the life? Is there regular disapline as well as rewards when something good happens. You should see about taking her to a doctor or psychologist.
