do you find nowdays that shops and superstores don't seem to care about the customers anymore, especially when you try and get a refund for something, they are quick enough to take the money of you but if you have a problem with a product then they just don't give a toss.what do you think?

Theres too much compettion, and clientes arent faithful to that store, but prefer shopping arond, so their new moto seems to be "make money"
Have a nice day!

Yes, there has been a definate change in attitude over recent years. However at the same time, many customers have also become more aggressive which cannot help the situation. Now if I have a problem with a product I have purchased, I take it back to the store and if they won't refund the money or replace the item, I contact the manufacturer. Surprisingly I have found that this has worked and I have received a replacement item in a few days. :)

Yes, I have found that there are several changes in customer service in the last several years. I personally, was brought up to be as courteous, helpful, and cheerful when working with people, especially when providing them a service or product. I find many times that people at stores or in food service don't smile, say thank you or overall radiate a happy or cheerful vibe. I also find that this makes me less apt to visit their facility again. I just don't understand certain things, like how does a salesman expect me to be confident in purchasing from him and his company if all he can do is mumble? Or why it is so hard to just tell someone to have a good day like you mean it?
