I'm talking about the show Deal or no deal? What are the rules, the guidelines? I know the purpose is to win money.

You are supposed to pick the million dollar case, but really its a matter of getting the best deal. Every time a high amount gets taken down, the bank offer gets lower. Its based on the averages of the cases left. Really the best place to be would be left with the million dollar and the seven hundred fifty up, and take the deal between. Otherwise, even if the million is up, there is always a chance you get very little.

Great explanation. So if they pick the million case what happens? Do they get that money?

If they dont sell it to the banker first, then they can have that money. It really is based on how good you stratigize or luck I suppose.

You pick a case to be yours hoping its the highest amount of money, and slowly you eliminate cases by the numbers and hope that they are small numbers. after you eliminate so many cases the "banker" will make an offer, he wants to get you out of there with the least amount of money and you can take the deal or not

I got some of that while watching it. But why can't you keep going when you open the $500,000 one?
