Do you think it's okay to cheat on your mate if they treat you wrong?

I want to know everyone's thoughts on this. I don't believe it's right in any circumstance. What if they abuse you, emotionally or otherwise? What if they are cheating on you?

If someone is treating you badly you should LEAVE THEM!

If we know that something they are doing is wrong, why would it be right that we do it too? I don't think it's okay at all to cheat on my spouse/mate. People forget these days that relationships are a gift and are to be treasured. We make mistakes and yeah, if your mate is doing something wrong then leave, you don't deserve that kind of behaviour!

If a person is with someone that isn't treating them the way they should be, what is the use of cheating? you leave them! cheating on a person who isn't doing their part in a relationship isn't going to make them act right, you get yourself someone who will treat you properly..

No, it isn't right. If someone is treating you poorly then dump them. I don't believe in revenge cheating either - I'd leave and be done with it.
