how do you know when you're ready to have a baby? when is it the 'right' time? is there ever a 'right' time?

I dont know, I wasnt ready to become a mom when I find out I was pregnant. By the time of my daughter's birth, I was ready. I had 9 month to think about the baby so even though I got upset in the begining, I enjoyed being pregnant. I didnt plan for th pregnancy but to have a baby, parents or the couple just need to have a place for the baby when their heart have enough space for extra person.

When I was first pregnant, I wasn't sure if I was really ready. But once I eard my babys heart beat and saw the ultrsound, I knew I could do it. And now I wouldn't change a thing.
There are always reasons not to have a baby, money, work, age. When the time comes or you find yourself pregnant, you figure it all out.
I think babies are the best thing in the world. I could not be happier doing anything else then I am being a mom.

i guess it really depends if you feel ready to bring life into this world...even when one is ready, it still may not be the right time...so many factors come to play...its very complex and many people dont really take the time to think about how their lives will change once they have a child...

I think that some people can "get ready" so to speak by planning according to their finances, or what they think they need to achieve before starting a family. But I also think that if everyone waited for the right time, the population might be a lot smaller. Then again, if everyone waited for the right time there may be less children that are aborted, starving, born with an addiction, so it seems to be like most everything, a good and bad thing at the same time.
