Celebrities becoming Politicians, What is your opinion?

Many celebrities now are going into politics. They have a good chance of being elected into power because primarily, they have an edge in terms of popularity. They don't need to spend more time and money that other politicians do because they already have formed a public image. Their focus would then be creating credibility and competence on the job their running for. In our country, I have no objections on this issue. As a citizen, we all have the right. I've seen movie stars who run for office who have become successful in the field of politics. No one's perfect, though, and they do make mistakes. Don't we all? As a voter, we have to be responsible to know if the one we're voting has the capacity to his job and not merely popular.
