Have you heard the story about someone putting their young child in a ball pit...the child loses something so the mother is looking for it and instead finds used drug needles, trash, vomit and other disgusting stuff. Is this story true? What do you think? Have you ever had a nasty experience like this in any play places like McDonalds, Chuck-e-Cheese, TumbleTown or somewhere like that? If so, what happened and what did you do about it?

Hi! Personally, I don't believe that these stories are true. They are what are called urban legends. The trash part might be true, but I doubt that there are many 6 year old herion junkies leaving their needles in ball pits! Just use your common sense and if a children's play area doesn't look okay or isn't maintained, then don't let your child play there. It's that simple! :-)

I have checked a lot of these stories on www.snopes.com and most of them aren't true.
