Brokeback Mountain is a wonderful movie. It's a shame that it got labelled the "gay cowboy" movie. It does involve love between the 2 male leads, but it is not falmboyantly gay at all. The scenes in the mountains are beautiful and the soundtrack is excellent. If you go with an open mind, I am sure you will love it. When it was in theaters, I saw straight men with their dates actually tearing up afterwards. It's powerful and should be seen by everyone, gay or straight.
