While being pregnant and living with my mom, do you think that its bad of me not to have a job. I had a job but it just didnt work out and after a week of them finding out i was prego i got fired. I've come to see in other topics on another site some girls say they pitty me just because i dont have a job. Well my mom says its almost impossible for me a 17 year old girl whos 7 months pregnant to get a job. its hard. Ive tired to get a job. Im just wondering what you think!

i think it would be pretty hard for you to find a physical job in your condition right now. but, there are other jobs you can do at home to help with the expenses --- giving tutorial lessons, for one. there are also a lot of work-at-home opportunities that you can engage yourself in.

Well, when I was preggers with my first son, I was 20, and a month after they found out they fired me, and because I was showing I wasn't able to get another job. But with my second son (born a year ago) I worked until the day my water broke and everyone there was really happy for me...the bonus is that I really didn't get "special" treatment. I didn't lift anything heavy or put too much strain on my body, but they really didn't cut me much slack. If this is your first pregnancy I would say that it was probably best that you didn't work and later on, when you decide to have another baby you will probably be able to work. It just depends on who it is you are working for. I say congrats again on having the baby, just don't let what others think or say get to you!!

You can always babysit to make money. I had my first child at 19 and I worked my butt off. You never give up there is always something even if it pays really low. you try try again. What are you going to do once this child is born? get on welfare and be another waste on the tax payers money? Where is the father. I hope at least he is able to support you if you can not support yourself and baby.
