God v/s devil Religion is a matter of conscience. From our very childhood we have been preached, to believe in GOD and have faith in GOD by our parents, teachers and respective religious heads. The notion of "Beliving in GOD" is used by many of us during various circumstances in our life(usually during grave circumstances), ever heard the notion of "Beliving in DEVIL"!!!Our elders always tell us: 1-GOD exists. 2-Believe in GOD. 3-GOD resides within us. Ever heard them saying: 1-DEVIL exists. 2-Believe in Devil. 3-DEVIL resides within us. Probably not! Here lies the impotant factor. Acoording to me, both GOD and DEVIL exist. GOD is a kind of positive energy and conversley, DEVIL is a kind of negative energy: while GOD compells us to take the tough and noble pathway, DEvIL compell us to take the easier and ignoble pathway thereby providing a a shortcut, manipulated way of success. It is up to us to make the choice. We should attempt not only to understand GOD, but also the DEVIL because only when we consider both the aspects can we attain fullfillment. Equilibrium can only be reached when both the sides of a coin are balanced. Many movies show that GOD is more power full than the DEVIL. I feel that GOD and DEVIL are like two plates of a beam balance. Both are equally powerful: if more weight is put on one plate it goes down and the other plates moves up,similarly when we accept the principles of any one of THEM, the respective ENTITY gains weight and becomes more powerful so everything eventually depend upon our deciscion. Remember my friends, basic characterisation obliges that nothing is pure white and nothing is pure black. Everything is grey( it has both black and white).

you are definitely right, everything is grey. but when you talk about god and devil you are speaking about something that lies in the inner part of yourself. therefore, yuou are the only one in charge of deciding the power of god and the power of the devil. if you are a strong believer and have a lot of faith in god, it will be easier for you to follow every single rule of your religion, whatever it is. on the other hand, if your faith is not so strong, rules will be very hard to follow. but it is not a matter of how strong the devil (or god) is; you only can "push the buttons". if religion is a strong value for you (because you feel it is right, for example, or because it gives you power or because you believe in those values and so on) then the devil will be just a weak, hopeless creature.

See, the christians think different of you, so the atheists, muslims, hinduists, budists, etc. Why should we believe in your idea and not one of the others?

HEY BUDDY, i am not talking in terms of any particular religion i am talking in general: Buddy, thank you for reading the post and giving a honest reply. Your replies are substantial and thought proviking. If you are reading this, i had doubts when I was a small boy and could not understand that, if God existed why was there so much destruction and mayhem in the world, why did he not solve all the problems in a jiffy and make the world perfect. Perhaps there is an equal but an opposite dark power preventing HIM to do so. All my understandings uptill now have been based upon a single analogy" EQUAL and OPPOSITE". Such as: For GOOD there is BAD. For ADDITION ther is SUBTRACTION. For MULTIPLICATION there is DIVISION. For PARTICLE there is ANTIPARTICLE. For GOD there is DEVIL. Dear friends, I may be wrong in my understanding but the important thing is to discuss this topic and know everbodys opinion so that I may know the truth.
