Those are two different kinds of Sci-Fi, but very representative of the different period in which they were made. Which one do you prefer?
I prefer Matrix, even if i didn't like the last two movies, i think that the first one was a masterpiece of sci-fi, more than Blade Runner!

i think it's a parallel way to see the problem of existence. In blade runner we have androids who have emotions and feelings but they can't have a normal life. in matrix people think to live the real life but is a simulation... but i think matrix is more impressive!

matrix trilogy anyday check the concept man
the dressing is cool. and the fight scenes are greatly shot. especially in the matrix reloaded, the fight scenes are better there but the original first part "the matrix" was a great concept. Matrix revolutions was fine but the first one stole it really. cheers to warchoski brothers. will watch it over again

Been a sci fi fan for over 40 years. Blade runner is the better film than the Matrix. Yet, I work in a Psych Ward and you would be surprised how many patients were admitted for first episode psychosis, after watching The Matrix. It is a common delusion it would appear.
