I don't know but I see more people plaiyng World of Warcraft. I believe this is the most popular game online in the world.

Not true, there're 12-13million registered steam Accounts, the number of players WoW has account-wise is jutst about 10million. If you count active players I doubt all the active users WoW claims it has are really active.

i hate counter stritke it doesnt even have good graphics. now if you want a good game you should try halo 2. now thats a good game.

I think it is because most people have heard about it if not played already. It's popular because of the money you can make by getting professional at it :D
