An interesting fact about Melbourne Train Station at the heart of the CBD!

CBD as in Central Business District! Now the story goes that the architect who built the original Melbourne Train station was also the architect who built the Calcutta Train Station.. Now as fate would have it.. the architectural plans got interchanged somehow and the train station meant for Calcutta was sent to australia and vice versa. The funny thing is according to me the Melbourne Train Station is huge as compared to the one in calcutta! So the architect had thought of the huge population of Calcutta when he designed such a station.. Anyways I am sure the people of Melbourne are not complaining as this train station built years ago still serves its purpose!
