What is the best poem you've ever heard,and why?

I wouldn't be able to choose a favourite song; I'm a music maniac. My song of the day changes every 5 minutes, I love so many. My favourite poem, however, would be Edgar Allen Poe's "Annabelle Lee". It was one of the sweetest and most captivating poems I ever read.

Hmm for an English major this is hard....but I would have to say "Break, Break, Break" Alfred Lord Tennyson because it's sad and the thought behind it is great. "Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" T.S. Elliot because it's so funny...and "My Last Duchess" by Robert Browning because it really makes you think.... Oh yea and "No Coward Soul is Mine" Emily Bronte, because it shouws emense faith.

I just love Pink Floys songs cause they are deep and u can truly relate to the songs

I love Ozzy Osbourne. His songs gave me inspiration to start writing to release my emotions. Before I heard and learned his songs I had no way to express myself, and was bottling to much... so that is my major inspiration. Crazy Train is my favorite of Course. :) . - DNatureofDTrain.

i remember a poem called "Dear God" i read off the internet. it was really touching, it was like a prayer to god about the person you love...it made me cry. i printed it out and gave it to my bf...

as far as music goes my favoright is pinks don't let me get me ,not all of it matches me but I really am my worst enimy so alot of it does . As far as poems go I love the poem what happens to a dream defered . what happens to a dream defered? by langston hughs Does it dry up? like a raisin in the sun? Or festor like a sore? and then run? Does it stink like rotton meat? Or crust and sweet over-- a syrupy sweet ? Maybe it sags like a heavey load. Or does it explode ?

I love Pink, her new album is awesome, I drive along with it blasting in the car and know the words to almost every song...pretty powerful song called "Dear Mr. President"...

Favourite poem... oh I love so many it's hard to say, but if I only had to chose one, it would definatly be Edgar Poe's "The Raven". Why? It shares his love for this woman that passed away, yet it's haunting and leaves one a little confused and thinking why thet raven kept saying "Nevermore". I simply love it. My Favourite song? I have a few, here's my top three Over It - Katherine McPhee Bolvd. of Broken Dreams - Green Day Serenity - Godsmack. Think about it though, isn't music a type of poetry?
