There are legal restrictions against hiring teens under (usually 15 but depends on state) so that won't be the right part time position for you; however, there are ways for young people to make money without the scams that prey upon the desires for kids. One such way is in your own business whether that's selling products, teaching people how to do things that you know how to do (computers?), performing errands for those without the time or mobility, or ... well, whatever you choose to do.
Take a few minutes to think about what you are best at and what market you can tap into. Then, ask your parents to back you in a part time business of your own that they can pay you to operate. They will get tax write offs and you will make more money than you could working part time as a cashier. I sold calendars when I was a kid ... from September to December... and made some decent money like at least $10-20 a day. With 30 days in a month that was a few hundred bucks for spending money.
There's a cool book that I found at the library called "Fast Cash for Kids" by Bonnie and Noel Drew. See if your library has it or has access to it. It will cover information on what a business plan is, what licenses you need, how to collect tax and pay taxes, and all kinds of information that you can learn and then talk to your parents about. If you are truly serious about making money, YOU have to take the first step!!!

My son had a job when he was 12. He delivered the newspaper. I think thats about the only things around here the law allows.

the only way this is possible is by using things like this service, whihc in my mind for a 12-13 year old would be pretty good to add to pocket money. Theres tons of sites out there that they can learn how to build a business or revenue refferal style.

It will be under bal Shramik. So this is not good for some one to work under age. And if he/she is doing job they destroy their learning time and future will be finished in such case.

What it comes down to is that you have to go by the laws where you are. In spite of that, youngsters can certainly do things like babysit, rake leaves, mow lawns, shovel snow, do dishes and housework and maybe even start cooking a bit in private homes. This kind of work is normally not counted under the same labor laws as general employment.
My kids started working on the farm and being paid by their uncle even younger than 12. Working that young has taught them hard work and responsibility, and also taught them the value of money...they know how hard you have to work to earn money and will be less likely to ask you to spend your money frivously for them. Now my boys are 14 and 15. In February the 15 yr old will be 16, old enough for legal work. He is excited about getting a real job and has already domposed his resumee. This is an important attitude and action.
