What would you do if you saw someone drop a 500 dollars

its hard but would you do what was best or would you keep it and go christmas shopping?

Well i will pick that dollar
but instead of spending that dollar on my
i will buy some food for the poor people who are hungry and are not able to buy food
even i will put some more efforts in that money to help out the poor people and will arrange to fullfil their needs

Why would you chose to spend someone else's money to do good for the poor? Why not your own money? your own energy? not the savings of someone's hard work... you could not claim to feel good using another's money could you?...and how do you know that person wasnt carrying the money to pay for hospital bills and meds for their mother or father?... think again!

I reccommend you return it as quickly as possible. You need to look at life long term my friend: for example, If you keep the money, you will spend it, your life will be the same as always except for a little elation of having extra money for a moment... on the other hand if you return the money, you will remember that incident the rest of your life and so will the person you gave it back to. Also, it is story that your could pass on to your children, as a way of teaching the RIGHT thing to do, and as a way of gaining respect from your child. Think about it.... moral decisions are based in human trial and error, there is a whole history of people having to make right and wrong choices when nobody is looking. Be strong make the right choice, you will have served yourself well.
