I have lots of friends who have moved across the USA, the only way we keep in touch is by emails, and an occasional phone call. Email's quick and gets to them the same day, it's just easier and more convenient than using snail mail (plus you don't have to pay for a stamp, lol) Most of us email each other a couple of times a week or so. It's a nice way to keep up with them and their busy lives.

I actually don't send that many emails to my friends. I usually see my friends quite often so I just tell them in person or I call them and tell them what's on my mind.

Yes, I definetly do. My mom and I email each other all the time even though we live in the same town. Her husband works at home and is always on the phone, the computer or faxing. We both like emailing too, it's fun. We both have a program, (totally free), called Incredimail. It's so much fun. You get to pick all different backgrounds, emoticons, even sounds for your email. I love sending ecards too, and with most ecard sites you are notified when the person receives the email and when they have read the email. The ecards are great, they sing, they are animated and funny! You can send them for any ocassion, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas or just everyday. My favorite sites that are totally free are hallmark.com,actioncat.com,webshots,clubgreetings,123greetings,regards,garfield and even currentcatalog.com. I especially love to send ecards for holidays, there are so many cute ones. I still send regular Christmas cards and letters. I do have family back east I write letters to and call, but if I want to let them know some little thing really fast I send an ecard or Incredimail Email. I have some friends I don't see much and one lives out of state so we email as well. So, as you can probably tell I am a big fan of emailing.

Yes, but not often, with whome I have intimacy, best introduction and best understandig even within myLot friends I send email. But with myLot friend hardly if think important or just to do a little fun because I think when my friend will engage with my email reading, reply that time he/she may visit mylot and can learn, discuss, earn more instead of engaging with me. Though every week I send at least 10-15 mail to my all friends and I get about 25 reply average as all my friends are not in mylot.

I'm not sending too often e-mails to my friends because the majority of them i have in my yahoo id, so i don't really speak to them by sending them e-mails. This method should be practiced with the ones you don't know too good and you are just frinds on the internet with them. Good luck!
