Is it ok to get a picture of my son with santa clause before the age of one?

I'm scared too! My son is almost 8 mths old and he literally screeches at strangers if they get too close. He has just starting accepting family members he doesn't see often. My husband is insisting we get his picture taken with Santa at his office's annual children's Christmas party and I just know he's gonna bring the place down with his shreiks!

I must admit I always feel sorry kids when they are screaming when they go to see Santa but the mothers push them to get a photo, I think it is sending a bad message to the child but if you baby is ok with it why not, maybe stating them young is a good thing.

I say try it and see how he responds. If he gets real upset then I would forget it.

I think you should try and see if he will allow it, if not, then you shouldn't make him. Even though some babies are afraid of strangers, they may let a select few hold 'em. I also found out that sometimes children don't come to certain people because they sense a bad presense or spirit with that person.
But anyways, I think you should give it a try. Maybe this santa could be good with children.
