Ink pen or Dot pen?

Which one you prefer, though nearly everybody uses dot pen these days, but don't you feel for writing pleasure it's ink pen which can also be used?

I prefer a ballpoint pen, I never really liked fountain pens, they just didn't seem to add quality to my writing!

Any given day i would vote for a quality Fountain pen. Does any any one know who invented fountain pen? I know but i wont say. Also would like to know if you own a good brand. I own a montblanc

I prefer dot pen practically but ink pens are a little poshy... So i love them...
