Are we getting nostalgic?

It seems these days we are always harking back to old times (even me as a youngster) and remarking how it was much better in the olden days! To use the example of music, now we are seeing comebacks from Take That and Yusuf Islam! It seems the new kids on the block just don't cut it. In sport, we wish that football was without diving and multimillionare primadonnas and in general life, we are longing for the time when liberties weren't being taken away. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
